Structural / Façade Engineer

Our Limassol headquarters is seeking a talented Structural/Façade Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will collaborate with architects and other professionals to design and deliver exciting, world class buildings.

Responsibilities

• Design aluminium façade structures, and actively contribute to workshops with architects and fellow professionals where aluminium façade solutions are explored and determined.
• Produce drawings, specifications, structural drawings and identify the scope of work for various projects.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate with clients to establish their needs, maintaining a dialogue throughout the project. Attend site meetings along with the project team regarding technical issues.
• Research and evaluate new systems to meet specific project criteria.
• Developing new die drawings for aluminium profiles and gaskets as per structural and project requirements.
• Design catalogues and technical manuals.
• Promote aluminium systems & products.

Qualifications & Skills

• In-depth technical and design skills related to building envelope design, façade / curtain wall detailing, drafting, shop drawings, or architectural tenders.
• Degree or diploma holder in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or Building Design (Architectural).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to conceptualize and design practical solutions.
• Ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with 3-D computer modelling and analysis packages is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D design software (Rhino, Sketch-Up, etc.) is considered a plus.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team and with other departments.
• Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal).
