J-House

The design concept for J-House centers on the construction of an inward-facing building that reduces any unwanted disturbance from the heavy traffic flow of the surrounding area. At the same time, its ‘J’ shaped layout allows for excellent organization of space, creating insulating borders to the street and transparent boundaries to the interior, through the use of large openings. The house is classified as an Energy Category A' building, due to the application of MUSKITA thermal insulating systems MU144, MU2075 Elite and THÉA Minimal Aluminum Frames. The south-facing windows have been fitted with sliding aluminum shading louvres to reduce unwanted sunlight.
